In Galatians and Ephesians, Couch and Witmer help the reader discover both the heart of the apostle Paul and the heart of the New Testament gospel. In both epistles, the reader is enveloped in the truth that salvation is by Christ alone, through grace alone, by faith alone.

John Witmer was a professor of systematic theology, Head Librarian, Library Archivist, and Assistant Professor Systematic Theology Emeritus at Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Witmer was a regular contributor to Christianity Today, Gospel Herald, Moody Monthly, and Dallas Seminary's Kindred Spirit. He was one of the major contributors to the theological volume The Theological Wordbook (Word, 2000), and authored Immanuel (Word, 1998). Dr. Witmer passed away in January 2007. Mal Couch completed Dr. Witmer’s initial work on this commentary.Dr. Mal Couch is founder and former president of Tyndale Theological Seminary and Biblical Institute in Fort Worth, Texas. He previously taught at Philadelphia College of the Bible, Moody Bible Institute, and Dallas Theological Seminary. His publications include Dictionary of Premillennial Theology, A Bible Handbook to Revelation, and The Hope of Christ’s Return: A Premillennial Commentary on 1 and 2 Thessalonians.
