David A. Madsen is Faculty Emeritus and former Department Chair of Drafting Technology at Clackamas Community College, an Authorized AutoCAD® Training Center in Oregon City, Oregon. He is Director Emeritus of the American Design Drafting Association, and an Autodesk Developer Network member. Mr. Madsen is also the author of several other drafting and CADD books.

He is an Autodesk Developer Network Member, SolidWorks Research Associate, and American Design Drafting Association Member. He is also the author of several other drafting and CADD books.
J. Lee Turpin is a former Drafting Technology Instructor, Department Chair, and Vocational Counselor at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon.
