Using Web 2.0 Tools in the K-12 Classroom

Crane (curriculum and instruction, Oklahoma State U.) has conducted workshops for educators on literacy and the mentoring of teachers for many years, and her guide on using Web 2.0 technology for K-12 classrooms uses this wealth of experience to describe the proper use of these learning tools for teachers, librarians and technology coordinators. The author uses classroom examples to illustrate the proper use of these materials and technologies, and then provides explicit lesson plans that utilize blogging, wikis, podcasts, digital storytelling and social bookmarking.
