This volume, based upon a conference held at the City University of New York in September 2005, brings together leading researchers and thinkers such as Peter Fonagy, Mary Target, Otto Kernberg, Glen Gabbard, Sidney Blatt, Donnel Stern, and Philip Bromberg.
