Trachanoids

In a prehistoric world where dinosaurs and humans live together, it is a constant battle for dominance and survival. The precarious balance of supremacy, life and death is about to be tipped. Aliens known as the MUGO attack, seeking to destroy the dinosaurs, enslave the humans and steal earth's natural resources to save their own dying planet. Will this be the end of the Earth? Hope lies in seven courageous dinosaurs that must set aside their differences and unite to become Earth's greatest heroes. Trapped inside a cave during an attack, the seven discover the legendary TIERIAN MEDALLION that gives them amazing abilities: TAREK a T-Rex with the ability to shoot ice pellets and fire balls; MONG an Apatosaurus who can use his head like a wrecking ball; SLEE a pteranodon who can shoot boomerangs and form nets with her wings; ZAARK a stegosaurus whose plates drop down to forma shield; ILLA a triceratops who can shoot lasers from her horns; ANASH a velociraptor with super sharp claws and jumping ability and her brother VESPER with super speed and telepathy. Together they vow to fight the invaders and save the planet.

James Fitl graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a business degree, but at heart he was always a storyteller. He would weave together imaginative tales for his daughter, capturing everyday moments with such excitement that she would beg, "Tell me my stories Daddy!" Because of her enthusiasm for one particular story, he decided to write the book “The Trachanoids Defenders of the Earth”. As the story unfolded, he incorporated her ideas for characters and events. Then his wife Amy, (an artist since childhood) drew the illustrations to bring to life the dinosaurs, strange aliens and amazing machines they had imagined. He, wife Amy and their daughter, (who now writes stories of her own) also go to schools to talk to kids about writing and illustrating in hopes of encouraging kids to "Discover their own power!"
