Bruno Yakoski sits at the Paris cafe he always visited with Daniela and orders a gin and tonic. Today he is alone. Daniela is dead. 作者簡介
Rafael Ramirez Heredia nacio en Tampico, Tamaulipas (Mexico). Ademas de narrador, cronista y dramaturgo, fue profesor de literatura espanola y director de numerosos talleres literarios en Mexico y otros paises. Su obra ha sido traducida a varios idiomas y merecido diversos reconocimientos, entre ellos el Premio Nacional de Teatro (Productores Teatrales, 1976), el Premio Nacional de Cuento (1983), el Premio Juan Rulfo (Francia, 1984), el Premio Internacional de Letras (Sociedad de Escritores de la Ex Union Sovietica, 1990), el Premio Rafael Bernal a la mejor novela policiaca (1993), el Premio al Merito Literario (Universidad Mexico Americana de la Frontera, 2000) y la Gran Orden al Merito Autoral (Instituto Nacional del Derecho de Autor, 2003). Alfaguara ha publicado De tacones y gabardina (cuentos, 1996), Con M de Marilyn (novela, 1997; Premio Nacional de Literatura IMPAC y Consejo de Cultura de Nuevo Leon), El Rayo Macoy (cuentos, 1999), Del Tropico (cuentos, 2001) y La Mara (novela, 2004), por la que recibio el Premio de la Critica para el mejor libro extranjero (Chile, 2004) y el Premio Dashiel Hammet (Gijon, Espana, 2005).
