ANNE MIRANDA?buys many of her groceries at traditional Spanish mercados, where one can find both animals and vegetables. When she’s not at the market, she spends much of her time writing children’s books, including Night Songs, which she illustrated, and Glad Monster, Sad Monster, illustrated by Ed Emberley. She lives with her husband and their two young sons in Madrid, Spain.
