Educational Technology, Teacher Knowledge, and Classroom Impact ─ A Research Handbook on Frameworks and Approaches

Academics in education working in the US describe the current state of research in the fields of educational technology and teacher knowledge and explore the role of research in guiding practice. The book seeks to repair gaps in the content and validity of research findings in the field, offering structural models and example studies for researchers and practitioners as they develop, implement, and interpret future research. Many of the chapters focus on a teacher knowledge framework called Technology, Pedagogy and Content Knowledge (TPACK) and the Comprehensive Framework of Teacher Knowledge (CTFK). The first part of the book outlines strategies that have been used to conduct research on teacher knowledge for integrating educational technology.
