Paul O. Zelinsky is the author and artist of numerous books for children, and has won the Caldecott Medal (Rapunzel, 1998) and three Caldecott Honors (Swamp Angel, 1995; Rumpelstiltskin, 1987; Hansel and Gretel, 1985).
