Organized into three distinct sections, Rhetorics in the New Millennium provides a cutting-edge approach to this thorny issue in biblical studies. The first section is a collection of three essays that are primarily theoretical in nature and concerned with examining general theories of rhetoric. The second section is a series of specific studies each using a different accepted theoretical model to analyze a given text.
