Precious Gifts: Biblical Reflections on the Eucharist weds solid biblical scholarship and thoughtful reflections to bring more depth to our experience of the Eucharist.Hoping to “get more out of Mass” means that we have to invest ourselves in all its elements: from listening to responding, from standing to kneeling, and more. John Craghan, Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at St. Norbert College, De Pere, WI, holds a ThD from the University of Munich, a SSL from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome/Jerusalem, and an MA in Semitics from Columbia University in New York. He has taught and lectured extensively in the United States and Latin America in biblical studies. He has served in editorial positions at Biblical Theology Bulletin and Scripture in Church. Among his published works are Beads and the Bible, Psalms for All Seasons, and Yesterday's Word Today.
