Blogg (dance, Griffith U., Australia) provides a volume first published in 1985 that examines dance and worship in the context of the Bible and how religious dance can be used in the church and education. He sees a paradoxical attitude in Christians who express an interest in the arts in worship, but have a fear and skepticism about dance. He explores the nature and conditions of religious dance in scripture, specific references to dance, conditions of such expression in contemporary worship, and biblical principles from which dance may be justified. He also discusses how dance is a form of knowing, what constitutes an education of dance, its form and content, and how dance can be related to the Christian faith.
