Radical Approaches to Political Science

It is possible to label author Eisfeld (emeritus, political science, Osnabruck U., Germany) a "radical liberal," although that means something different in his native German than it does elsewhere--or as a pluralist. But regardless of those categorizations, his approach to politics and the topics he chooses to address and/or critique is not mainstream. The title of the first chapter of his book is a fine example: How Political Science Might Regain Relevance and Obtain an Audience: A Manifesto for the 21st Century.
