作者簡介
Calvin O. Schrag (Ph.D. Harvard University) is George Ade Distinguished Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at Purdue University. He is co-founder of the Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy, and author and editor of over fifteen books, including most recently “The Self after Postmodernity” (New Haven: Yale University Press, 1997), “God as Otherwise than Being: Toward a Semantics of the Gift” (Evanston: Northwestern University Press, 2002), “Convergence amidst Difference: Philosophical Conversations Across National Boundaries” (Albany: SUNY Press, 2004), and “Doing Philosophy with Others: Conversations, Reminiscences, and Reflections” (West Lafayette: Purdue University Press, 2010).
Michael R. Paradiso-Michau (Ph.D. Purdue University) is Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at North Central College. He is co-founder of the North American Levinas Society, and has published articles and reviews in “Radical Philosophy Review”, “Ethics, and Continental Philosophy Review.” His forthcoming book is “The Ethical in Kierkegaard and Levinas” (Continuum International Publishers).
