Ecological Modelling

This text for a master's level course in ecological modeling covers models used in environmental management and ecological research. The first part of the book introduces the history and procedures of ecological modeling, and looks at 11 types of models. Subsequent chapters describe basic concepts and applications of five common models: bio-geo-chemical models, population dynamics models, ecotoxicological models, spatial models, and structurally dynamic models.
