Articulated Experiences—Toward a Radical Phenomenology of Contemporary Social Movements

Vahabzadeh (a postdoctoral fellow of political science, U. of Victoria, Canada) explores whether current social movements represent a fundamental shift in praxis and theory in which nontotalizing, antifoundationalist concepts are fundamentally linked to postmodern rejections of foundational thought. He suggests that social movements do indeed represent the beginnings of purely postmodern phenomena that require new responses by those who wish to study the movements.
