The theme of Aesthetics in Present Future concerns the new chances the arts have and the deep changes they are undergoing, due to the new media, and the digital world in which we are growingly immersed. That this world is to be understood from an aesthetic point of view, become clear if we think of how much of what we produce, and observe and study is offered through images in particular and perceptual means in general.
作者簡介
Brunella Antomarini received her PhD in aesthetics at Gregoriana University, Rome, and teaches aesthetics and phenomenology at John Cabot University, Rome. Among her publications: Pensare con l’errore (Codice Edizioni, Torino 2008; English translation, Thinking through error, Lexington Books, 2012), The Maiden Machine (Edgewise, New York 2013), La preistoria acustica della poesia (Aragno Editore, Milan, 2013), La percezione della forma in Hans Urs von Balthasar (Sie Edizioni, Palermo 2004).
Adam Berg is an associate professor at Otis College of Art and Design, and teaches aesthetics and critical studies.Adamberg.org. PhD, MA (Philosophy), Haifa University; BA (Philosophy) University of Toronto and Haifa University. Studied Academia delle Belle Arte in Rome. Video and installations shown internationally. Artist-in-Residence, McLuhan Center for Culture and Technology, University of Toronto; and Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito. Conversations with Giordano Bruno (Tel Aviv University Press, Tel Aviv, 1997); Adam Berg (Charta, Milan, 2008); Evidence (Charta, Milano, 2010)
