Greenberg (emeritus, economics, U. of Maryland-Baltimore County) and Shroder (an economist with Office of Policy Development and Research at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) document 240 completed and 21 in- progress social experiments, summarizing cost and time frame of the demonstration, the treatments tested, outcomes of interest, sample sizes and target population, research components, major findings, and methodological limitations and design issues encountered.
