This anthology advances a radical agenda for higher education, arguing that teaching activities should focus not primarily on knowledge acquisition but behavior. Noting that today’s students face the double challenge of having to survive organizations and having to help organizations survive, this work discusses how these students will be called upon to help organizations find and realize innovative strategies for a sustainable future. Consequently, this works posits, higher education curricula must focus on key components of professional behavior and experiential learning must be central to this strategy.
作者簡介
Claus Nygaard is a professor in management education at Copenhagen Business School. He has received distinguished research awards from Allied Academies, outstanding paper awards from Students in Free Enterprise, and he was voted best teacher at Copenhagen Business School in 2001.Nigel Courtney is an honorary senior visiting fellow in the Cass Business School at City University–London. He is a visiting fellow at the University of Technology–Sydney and he has coauthored and coedited 14 books.Elyssebeth Leigh is a simulation professional who has spent more than 30 years applying simulation strategies and techniques to enhance learning in business and academic settings in Australia and around the world. She is the author of several books, including two volumes of simulations for use in workplace learning and a guide to online role play in university settings.Jac Geurts is a professor of policy and strategy in the department of organization studies at Tilburg University.Richard D. Duke is the author of Policy Games for Strategic Management.
