■ 大學時就讀台灣大學，畢業後前往美國威斯康辛大學（University of Wisconsin）深造，取得英語教學碩士。
■ 擔任多家美語補習班的教學講師、豆豆果英語教學總監、台中縣僑忠國小美語課程指導老師、康軒英語國中教材全國講師、清雲大學英文專題演講講師。
■ 除了專業語言教學，Josephine Lin也將創意融合在英語學習中，曾擔任創意英語節目話劇總策劃、百老匯歌舞劇作者、多次受邀擔任美語演講比賽評審與晚會主持人。
■ 為多家出版社責任編輯、英文書籍協力作者、EgoABC全民英檢書籍作者、多家語言出版社特約審稿教師。
■ 著有《字首字根字尾放口袋》、《學校老師永遠教不會的英文聽力口說技巧》、《我用這幾句英文在全世界交朋友》（懶鬼子英日語）。

Opportunities to make connections surround us. We have three formats of communication to choose from: we can talk about what is observable, we can share thoughts and ideas, and we can gossip. This book presents familiar situations, and gives you the reader the tools for speaking all that you see in your daily life in English. Beyond what you can observe, you will also be presented with higher-level keywords that will be connected with your thinking process. In this way, you will have the raw material for discussions of ideas, events, and people.
Motivated self-studiers, as well as those learning with a friend or in a discussion group, will find the arrangement of this book useful. The most obvious topics for consideration will be your own ideas elicited from the photographs, which are supplemented with relevant vocabulary. Intangible, corresponding vocabulary is also offered to benefit you additionally in matters of musing and dialogue.
This book was written in Taiwan, with local student populations kept in mind. I have encountered so many great people in Taiwan, not to mention great students. I dedicate this book to all those I have met in this country, who have been so caring and have impressed me beyond words. You have been a valuable resource upon my life, especially during the writing process of this book. I would like to specifically thank Rebecca, who has been a caring guide as each stage of this book has progressed.
The sources for this book include my own experiences at home and abroad, relationships with strangers and longtime friends and family, and face-to-face meetings as well as web chats. Moreover, music was used as a motivation, and the Internet was scoured for resources.

《圖解真正用得到的英文－用老外的一天學好英文》是一本結合了實際生活情境和會話運用的書籍，它和一般訴求會話句數量的會話書不同，也和配有可愛活潑插圖的生活英文書不同，這本書利用真實照片，不僅為讀者和書本搭起了學習的橋樑，更讓讀者能夠更容易將書中所學轉而應用到現實生活。在真實照片的引導下，讀者不僅對生活上的事物有清楚的認知，在會話上也可以運用得當，不再支支吾吾地不敢開口說英文。
在《圖解真正用得到的英文－用老外的一天學好英文》書中，總共包含了十個章節，第一個章節講述基本的發音規則以及口說技巧，雖然這本書的主題是生活英文，但是學英文的目的就是能夠去說、去用，如果連基本的發音或口說技巧都不會，那要如何應用在生活中呢？所以在此書花了一個篇章來講解。
除此之外，本書還設計了九個和生活上息息相關的主題，舉凡家事、學校、工作、健康、旅遊、餐廳…等，都大量地運用彩色照片和真實人物來做媒介，為的就是讓讀者可以輕鬆融入其中。以第三十五頁講述睡姿的內容為例，讀者可以透過真實照片來學習趴睡、側躺、捲曲睡等各種姿勢的英文說法，就連睡醒後，伸懶腰時會牽動的身體部位或是動作都會一併加以註解！
