(5) Macroscopic quantum tunnel effect
The ability of microscopic particles through the barrier is called tunnel effect. In recent years, it is noted that macroscopic quanti!ies, such as particle magnetization, magnetic flux in quantum interference devices and electric charge etc., also have a tunnel effect. These macroscopic quantities change by crossing the potential well of macroscopic system, this is known as the macroscopic quantum tunnel effect. Macroscopic quantum tunnel effect has important significance for basic research and practical application, and it defines the time limit of information storage in the tape and disk.
1.2.2 Application of the electrodes modified by nanomaterial
Electrochemical analysis, especially the sensor, is the most promising application of nanoparticles. Generally, the sensor should possess high sensitivity, fast response, wide detection range, good selectivity and high stability. Nanomaterial can better meet the requirements of the sensor due to its rich surface-active sites, high photocatalytic efficiency and great adsorption ability, and provides new avenues for electrochemical analysis.Compared to traditional sensors, the electrodes modified by nanomaterial not only possess high sensitivity, but also can realize high throughput online detection and analysis.
Electrochemical analysis can provide quickly and accurately theoretical basis for the research on chemical properties and kinetics of nanomaterial due to its simplicity, rapid analysis, intuitiveness and online analysis. Nanomaterial modified electrode for electrochemical analysis is easy to investigate the mechanism related to material properties. The nanometer TiO2, nanometer hydroxyapatite and nanoporous alumina associated with the present study are introduced as follows.
