Fire Safety Management Handbook

This book presents an organized and sequential guide to developing an effective fire safety management program. It provides an analysis of how to manage a fire safety program, which is usually part of an overall lost control program. Each chapter includes learning objectives at the beginning and questions at the end of each chapter. The new edition contains case studies, a new chapter on emergency response planning, and a school fire safety plan in the Appendix that can be used as a template for schools to develop a safety plan. Codes and standards have also all been updated.

Daniel E. Della-Giustina, Ph.D is professor for the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, West Virginia University, Morgantown, USA. A professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, he has published over 152 articles and 19 textbooks in the discipline of safety, health, and environmental studies; presented scholarly papers at numerous national and international conferences; and appeared as an expert witness in safety and health liability cases for the past 30 years. He holds a Ph.D and educational specialist degree from Michigan State University, East Lansing, USA and a MA and BA from American International College, Springfield, Massachusetts, USA, where he also currently serves on the Board of Trustees.
