Nomadic Literature ― Cees Nooteboom and His Writing

Fenoulhet writes about Dutch novelist, poet, and travel writer Nooteboom because she believes that he is an important and interesting writer who deserves more attention in English-language criticism, and because of the transnational nature of his literary presence. She investigates the extent to which he can be said to embody a mode of existence that offers a possible solution to the problem of how to approach the local, or regional, in a globalized world.
