Jazz Theory ― From Basic to Advanced Study

This work is presented as a comprehensive introduction to the musical theory of jazz that can serve as either a textbook for jazz theory courses or as a self-study guide for musicians. Bridging theory and practice, it discusses fundamentals through advanced post-tonal theory, while also integrating ear training, keyboard skills, and improvisation exercises. An included DVD contains 46 "Play Along" audio tracks for students to practice improvisations over different tunes and chord progressions.
