Clash of the Gladiators

In Clash of the Gladiators join DK Adventure's exclusive SLIP club (Secret Living In the Past) — a group of young history buffs who belong to a top-secret club that allows them to travel throughout history to any time, any place through a phone app. This time their journey takes them to Ancient Rome, where the mighty gladiators are getting ready to stage a huge spectacle at the Colosseum. Catherine Chambers was born is South Australia and brought up in England. In college, Catherine studied for a degree in African History and Swahili. She loves books and worked in publishing as an editor. For the last 20 years, Catherine has written both fiction and nonfiction children’s books. She really enjoys writing biographies and about history and geography—and likes to turn everything into a story. Catherine has lived in northern Nigeria and Portugal, as well as in Britain. She has learned much from her travels and her three sons. Her other interests include trying to learn languages, visiting art galleries, and sipping coffee at King’s Cross St. Pancras International train station in London, England.
