Racial, Ethnic, Gender and Class Representations in Margaret Laurence's Writings

Andrea Topor-Constantin has a Ph.D. from the University of Bucharest, Romania (2011). During the three-year doctoral programme, she benefited from a research stay at the University of Birmingham, UK (Oct. 2009-May 2010). Her interest in Canadian Studies emerged during the Master (British Cultural Studies) and she is regularly publishing articles and presenting papers on the topic at various academic events in Romania and abroad (UK, Germany, or Slovakia). Her doctoral field of expertise includes: Canadian women's writing, Canadian identity, and Margaret Laurence's writings. She teaches English at the Romanian-American University and publishes as co-author, workbooks for her students on Business English, English for Legal Purposes, business communication skills, and teaching English to adults.
