商品簡介
While acknowledging that anatomy must be fully explained, this book focuses on how an appreciation of functional anatomy is vital for everyone who regularly comes into contact with horses, whether they be a rider, trainer, musculoskeletal practitioner (physiotherapist, osteopath, chiropractor), farrier, or veterinary surgeon or student.
Illustrated in a fascinating way using innovative pictorial language, showing the correlation of the skeleton, muscular system, and locomotion, it will provide an anatomical insight into the functional and dysfunctional horse, by bringing the subject alight with techniques such as thermal imaging, vibrant color illustrations, and gait analysis.
