Building on the success of their previous volume, the contributors and editors continue to take an interdisciplinary approach and look for implications far beyond simple chemical reactions. Contributors concentrate on risk assessment (including evaluation of water quality an the impact of soluble oils), human health risks (including corporate citizenship models), effluent toxicity including assessment), bioaccumulation of chemicals (including assessments of lead and cadmium), biodegradation and bioremediation (including the art of reducing copper toxicity by drinking coffee), biological effects monitoring, ecotoxicity of emerging chemicals and new trends.
