The Visigoths in Gaul and Iberia ― A Supplemental Bibliography, 1984-2003

Ferreiro (European history, Seattle Pacific U.) presents a sequel to his 1988 bibliography, and was rather astounded to discover that there were as many relevant publications in the 20 years between 1984 and 2003 as there had been from about the beginning of time through 1983. The same problem remains, he says: the wide dispersal of information about Visigoths in Gaul and Iberia throughout congresses, symposia, Festschriften, journals with very limited distribution, and chapters in books that are about something entirely different. He has published over 50 articles in patristics and medieval studies in prestigious journals such as Church History, Journal of Ecclesiastical History, Harvard Theological Review, Vigiliae Christianae, Studia monastica, Hagiographica among others and in published acts of major conferences.
