Learning in School-University Partnership ― Sociocultural Perspectives

Drawing on sociocultual and social theories of learning, eight education faculty from the U. of Hong Kong examine cases of learning in a school-university partnership set up in Hong Kong. The study highlights the centrality of learning brought about by school-university partnerships. Through a series of case studies, the authors explore the "players" involved in the partnership--students teachers, mentors, university tutors, school principals--and the interrelationships between players, to understand the forces and processes that shape learning.
