The authors are the editors of Pinhole Journal, a contemporary magazine of pinhole photography, and have therefore been important in the recent revival of the technique. The book is carefully designed with plenty of white space to showcase the images to best advantage. Artists here use the soft-focus effects of simple lensless cameras in a variety of ways, from historical to avant-garde to documentary.
