作者簡介
Izak Oosthuizen, Ph.D., taught high school for seventeen years before becoming an as associate professor in Education Law on the Potchefstroom campus of the North West University (NWU) in 1988. In 1999 he was promoted to professor. In 2011 he was appointed as a Research Professor in the Faculty of Education at the NWU Mafikeng campus and in 2014 was named an Extraordinary Professor and Research Specialist there. In 2004 Oosthuizen received the Senior Researcher award from the Education Association of South Africa. In 2005 and 2010 he was rated as an established researcher by the NRF. Since 1989 he has published about 200 book chapters and articles related to Education Law.
Charles J. Russo, J.D., Ed.D., is the Joseph Panzer Chair in Education in the School of Education and Allied Professions and Adjunct Professor in the School of Law at the University of Dayton, Ohio. The 1998–1999 President of the Education Law Association and 2002 winner of its McGhehey (Lifetime Achievement) Award, he is the author or co-author of almost 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals and the author, coauthor, editor, or coeditor of fifty-two books. Russo has been the editor of the Yearbook of Education Law for the Education Law Association since 1995 and has written or coauthored in excess of 925 publications. He has spoken and taught extensively on issues in Education Law in the United States and in twenty-ix other Nations on all six inhabited continents. In recognition of his work in Education Law, Russo received an honorary Ph.D. from Potchefstroom University, now the Potchefstroom Campus of North-West University, in Potchefstroom, South Africa, in May of 2004.
Charl Wolhuter, D.Ed., is Comparative and International Education Professor at North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, South Africa. Previously, he taught History of Education and Comparative Education at the University of Pretoria and History of Education and Comparative Education at the University of Zululand. He studied at the Universities of Johannesburg, Pretoria, South Africa and Stellenbosch; he earned his doctorate in Comparative at StellenboschWolhuter he has been guest professor at Brock University, Canada, Canterbury Christ University, UK, Bowling Green University and Mount Union University in Ohio, Driestar Pedagogical University, the Netherlands, and the University of Eastern Finland. Wolhuter is the author of books and articles in History of Education and Comparative Education.
