Joanne Miyang Cho is a Professor and Chair of the History Department at William Paterson University of New Jersey, USA. She is the co-editor of Transcultural Encounters between Germany and India: Kindred Spirits in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries and is a recipient of several fellowships, including the Fulbright Fellowship, Max Planck Institute for History, the Institute for European History, and the German Academic Exchange Program.

David M. Crowe is a Professor of History at Elon University, USA and a Professor of Legal History at the Elon University School of Law, USA. He is the recipient of the Southern Conference on Slavic Studies' 2010 Richard Stites Senior Scholar Award and Elon University's Distinguished Scholar Award.
