Our Frozen Tears

Emerging from darkness and chaos, survivors of the Holocaust were left with nothing but images and tears. Mournful images of long lost children, parents and loved ones alongside visions of death and destruction that would nearly always resurface throughout every survivor’s lifetime. Although an endless sea of tears has long since receded, there are certain tears that stand their ground and remain frozen in time. Each of these frozen tears is awash with images and memories- vivid recollections that can never fade and will never vanish from view. Our Frozen Tears details the tearful recollections of those who survived the horrors of the Holocaust and by relating their stories, hope to provide us with a means by which to value each precious moment of life.
