Since winning the BBC New Comedy Award for Stand-up in 2001, Alan Carr has become one of the hottest comedy stars in Britain. In 2009 the success of Alan's chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man led to Channel 4 commissioning a further three series.
Alan has appeared at comedy festivals worldwide, and his 2007 'ToothFairy' tour culminated in a three night sell-out run at the Hammersmith Apollo. The DVD of Tooth Fairy Live was a Christmas 2007 best-seller. His first autobiography Look Who It Is! was published in September 2008 byHarper Collins.
