This volume of the yearbook provides statistical tables of information in the other five volumes, which profile non-profit international organizations, both non-governmental and intergovernmental. It also presents historical statistical summaries and analyses, visual representations of data and networks, and statistical data on the meetings of these organizations. Information is given on the number of organizations, their location, their interests, their origins, their languages, who represents them, and where and when they meet. The Union of International Associations (UIA) is a research institute and documentation centre, based in Brussels.
