For the second edition Dr Saifuddin is joined by two of his team members. Key references are marked in the reference lists but otherwise the style of the text remains broadly the same. Dr. Asif Saifuddin is a radiologist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, UK. He obtained his degree from The University of Manchester Medical School in 1984 and undertook his radiology training in Leeds, obtaining Fellowship of The Royal College of Radiologists in 1992. He is primarily interested in all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology, most especially that of the upper and lower limbs, including utilization of image guidance for therapeutic interventions.

Dr Philippa Tyler is a radiologist and a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, UK. Dr. Tyler handles reports on musculoskeletal plain film, CT, and MRI studies. She routinely performs ultrasound-, fluoroscopy-, and CT-guided interventional musculoskeletal procedures, including general diagnostic and therapeutic steroid and local anesthetic injections, arthrograms, facet joint injections, and bone and soft-tissue tumor biopsies. She leads weekly spinal multidisciplinary team meetings at her hospital and is involved in several research projects, including two new studies about MR-guided focused ultrasound.
