Successful Keyword Searching ― Initiating Research on Popular Topics Using Electronic Databases

Students and researchers are increasingly relying on electronic databases for gathering information on all topics. Effective use of these systems requires an understanding of how the systems work, as well as proper search terms. This book provides key words, key people, organizations and web sites compiled from the most commonly used databases and the most commonly researched subjects. Nine broad topics are covered: art and literature, business and communication, culture and cultural diversity, health, history, politics and law, philosophy and religion, science and technology, social issues, and sports and recreation.
