Dr. Aleksandar N. LEKSAND is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Belgrade University School of Medicine, Belgrade, Serbia. Aleksandar LEKSANDreceived both his Ph.D. and M.D. from Belgrade University Medical School. Dr. Neskovic is an Editorial Director of JAMA Serbia and Montenegro, and the member of editorial boards of the Cardiovascular Ultrasound, and the European Journal of Echocardiography. He is also the past-President of the Echocardiographic Society of Serbia and the board member of the European Association of Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Neskovic is the author of over 60 peer-reviewed international journal articles, three book chapters, and co-edited Informa Healthcare’s 2005 title, Emergency Echocardiography.
