商品簡介
This book brings an overview of the necessary notions related to Lp-stability, impulsive delayed systems, switched systems, approximate dynamic programming, reinforcement learning, Markov processes, ergodicity and scheduling protocols, followed by some realistic applications and engineering problems. Each of the eight chapters is written and organized to be as self-contained as possible through introductory sections tailored to provide the motivation and essential background of the theories required to develop selected applications and solve engineering problems of interest. The coherent and versatile framework presented by this book can be applied to various settings.
作者簡介
Dr. Domagoj Tolic graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb, with a Masters degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Electrical Engineering (2007), majoring in Control Systems. In addition, he graduated from the Mathematics Department, University of Zagreb, with a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics (2008). Subsequently, he enrolled in the Ph.D. program, the Control Systems major, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of New Mexico (UNM), Albuquerque, NM, as a member of the MARHES (Multi-Agent, Robotics, Hybrid, and embedded Systems Laboratory) research group under supervision of Prof. Rafael Fierro. Upon completing the Ph.D. program (2012), he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Research Centre for Advanced Cooperative Systems (ACROSS) at FER until September 2014. During his time in ACROSS, Dr. Tolic was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Information-oriented Control, Technische Universitat Munchen from October 2013 until June 2014. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at FER working on the Autism Diagnostic Observation with Robot Evaluator (ADORE) project. His research focuses on stability and estimation under intermittent information for nonlinear and multi-agent control systems. The developed theory is applied to problems in the area of multi-agent robotics.
Professor Sandra Hirche studied aerospace engineering at Technische Universitat (TU) Berlin and obtained her doctorate at TU Munchen (2005). She did her postdoctoral research at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and the University of Tokyo (2005-2007). Since 2008, she has been an Associate Professor of information-oriented control at TUM. She has held that same chair since 2013. Prof. Hirche is a senior member of the IEEE and an elected member of the Board of Governors of the IEEE Control Systems Society (2011). Her research activities focus on control engineering and system theory with particular emphasis on large distributed, networked and intelligent cooperative systems. The methods developed through this research can be used in robotics, human-machine systems, telepresence, infrastructure systems, power distribution networks and communication networks.
