Dr Lucy Budd is a Senior Lecturer in Air Transport in the Transport Studies Group, School of Civil and building Engineering, Loughborough University, UK. Her research interests concern air transport operations, globalization, and aeromobility. She has published in the region of 25 peer-reviewed papers, presented at numerous international conferences and is the editor of three books on air transport (Sustainable Aviation futures, 2013, Emerald, Low Cost Carriers, 2014, Ashgate, and The Geographies of Air Transport, 2014, Ashgate). He has published in excess of 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, has guest edited 15 special journal issues, sits on the Scientific Committee of the World Conference of Transport Research and has edited or authored 6 books.
