Designbook for Building Partnerships ─ School, Home, and Community

A three-ring binder full of ideas intended for school administrators at every level, principals, teachers, and central office personnel all of whom have a stake in parent involvement in schools. A parent survey is the book's organizing center, providing a means for educators to gather parent perceptions and to identify needs. The survey serves as a basis for the actions that follow, and each of those actions, called "designs," are thoroughly described in terms of their importance to the partnership between parents and educators and the responsibilities of both groups.
