Contextual chapters on semiotics, modernism, postmodernism and legibility, situate the book theoretically. Whilst other chapters deal with issues of context and identity as they are played out in relation to different graphic design media, from advertising hoardings to eBooks and other digital contexts, greetings cards to fashion photography.
作者簡介
Grace Lees-Maffei is Reader in Design History at the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
Nicolas P. Maffei is Senior Lecturer on the Graphics programmes at Norwich University College of the Arts, UK.
