The real story of one of the most explosive but hidden secrets in U.S. history, one that touches on everything from critical military history to the US.- Israeli relationship and the enigmatic, often-psychotic and deluded 36th president, has never been previously told. This book will be the first to explore the fact that a sitting U.S. president, who was being severely attacked for his mishandling of his Vietnam War -- especially, as he was very much aware, by his Jewish constituents -- had collaborated with Israeli leaders in the creation of a plan for a war between them and their Arab neighbors that would ensure victory for Israel, including the acquisition of additional lands and a strengthening of their relationship with the United States. This book will finally identify the real cause of the attack on a U.S. Naval ship, an act that would be blamed on Egypt as a way to justify a U.S. retaliation on that country with the specific goal of removing its president, Gamal Abdel Nasser, who President Johnson had come to hate because he had deserted the U.S. as he embraced the USSR's orbit. When the planned series of Israeli provocations against Egypt and Syria increased to higher levels of intensity, it caused the scheduled date for the start of the war (June 15, 1967) to be moved up by ten days. This resulted in the plan being seriously impacted because the key part could not be accomplished by the new timeline: That the sacrificial ship, the USS Liberty, had to be moved 6,000 miles into position; by the time it arrived the war was nearly over. The botched plan was still executed, however the ship refused to sink even after being hit by a torpedo, therefore the planned U.S. attack had to be cancelled and a massive cover-up invoked, which included severe threats for the crewmembers to "keep their lips sealed.". That cover-up is still in place, yet it is so tattered and worn, and so completely exposed, that the truth can finally be told and the real story of this event will finally be revealed. While much of this story was described in the author's previous book, "LBJ: From Mastermind to The Colossus", the new book, written largely by the survivors themselves

Mr. Gallo grew up in Philadelphia, in the "Little Italy" community. On the USS Liberty Mr. Gallo worked as a Second Class Communications Technician Maintenance Division Petty Officer, responsible for maintaining electronic equipment including cryptographic hardware associated with the mission of the Communication Technicians. Mr. Gallo wrote Liberty Injustices in 2013 which described the attack and its aftermath. Mr. Gallo is also the president of the Liberty Veterans Association. Ronald Kukal G. grew up in a small town in Nebraska and by the time he graduated from high school he was ready to enlist in the Navy. He was the senior enlisted man on the crew and responsible for collecting and preserving the remains of the men killed in the attack. He is still recovering from the decades of suffering that he had to endure as a result of the experiences on board the USS Liberty in 1967. Phillip Nelson grew up in Indiana and studied business and economics at the University of Wisconsin, and served in the Peace Corps in Brazil. After a 30-year insurance career he owned and operated a shipping business, retiring in 2003. Upon his retirement, he began researching the JFK assassination intensely. He published his first book, LBJ: The Mastermind of the JFK Assassination in 2010, followed by LBJ: From Mastermind to The Colossus in 2014. Roger Stone is the author of the New York Times bestseller The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ. He is a legendary political operative who served as a senior campaign aide to Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Senator Bob Dole. Stone would parlay being the youngest staff member of the Committee to Re-Elect the President in 1972 into being a conduit of secret memos from Ex-President Nixon to President Ronald Reagan throughout the 80s. A veteran of eight national presidential campaigns, Stone would spend hours talking politics with Nixon as confidant and adviser in his post-presidential years. Stone is known for his hardball tactics, deep opposition research, biting candor, and love of English custom tailoring. Stone serves as mens fashion correspondent for the Daily Caller. Phillip Tourney F. , Born and raised in Colorado, he joined the Navy on February 6, 1964, and was later transferred to the USS Liberty. After working the first cruise in the engine room he transferred to the ship-fitter's shop and then into damage control duty (fireman), which was his assignment when the attack came on June 8, 1967. Mr. Tourney is one of the most active of the survivors in bringing public attention to the fate of the Liberty. He is the host of the radio show "Your Voice Counts" and the author of What I Saw That Day about the attack on the Liberty.
