Lawrence Stern learned basic stage management at Eldred Hall Theatre (Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland OH) while working on an MA in Theatre. He served for four years in the Air Force as the manager of the Armed Forces Radio Television Station on Crete (Iraklion Air Station) and was director of the base little theater at both Offutt AFB, NB, and Iraklion Air Station. He stage managed for years in Hollywood (assistant production manager of Greek Theatre) and Sacramento (Music Circus) before turning to directing, writing, and teaching.
