商品簡介
When affected by events with a strong adverse impact, an organization, all or part, may exhibit signs of collective traumatization that, in turn, deteriorate social bonds, damage external relations, and possibly instigate secondary and transgeneration traumatization. Due to the varied components of the organization, hierarchy, roles, and functions, a collective trauma display certain specifics such as typical causative mechanisms and characteristic symptomatology. The former includes massive redundancies, abuse of power and rank, catastrophic events, hostile takeovers and other considerable transformations. The symptomatology is characterized by the emergence of specific in-groups identified as victims, witnesses, perpetrators, the creation of new coalitions as a reaction to trauma, organizational rumors, emotional disengagement from the organization, performance decline, scapegoating, and others.
