作者簡介

Teresa Toguchi Swartz, Ph.D. (2001), University of California, San Diego is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on intergenerational relations, families, race and ethnicity, Asian Americans, youth and young adulthood.Douglas Hartmann, Ph.D. (1997), University of California, San Diego, is Professor of Sociology at the University of Minnesota. He is the author of Midnight Basketball: Race, Sports, and Neoliberal Social Policy (University of Chicago Press, 2016) and studies race, ethnicity, culture, sport, and religion.Ruben G. Rumbaut, Ph.D. (1978), Brandeis University, is Distinguished Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Irvine. He is the author of numerous books and articles on migration, ethnic identities, and transitions to adulthood, including Immigrant America: A Portrait (with Alejandro Portes, University of California Press, 2014).
