Wei-Shu Hu is a Distinguished McKnight Professor at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and has published over 300 referred papers in all relevant areas in cell culture technology and biopharmaceuticals. He has been an active consultant to a number of major biopharmaceutical firms such as Roche Laboratories, Abbot Labs and Genentech. He has consistently presented a number of seminars on cell culture technology on a yearly basis to industry practitioners in biopharmaceuticals worldwide.
