He first started the popular website TheEmotionMachine.com in 2009, which has published over 500 articles about a wide-range of topics in psychology, including Positive Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivation, Habit Change, Buddhism, Meditation, and Emotional Intelligence. He grew up on Long Island, New York and currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.
