The scope is sprawling with stories that follow characters across the world. From crazy coincidences and seemingly impossible outcomes, the book always comes back to the importance of taking chances and reaching toward your own target. Most of the rich, exciting, and humorous adventures in this book would have never happened without accepting and dealing with life's challenges, and overcoming adversity. People who sit on their hands and wait for life to unfold are missing out.

This book lit a fire in me to step up and experience all of life's wonders and not to ever take anything for granted, whether it be a meaningful conversation, a friend, a loved one, or even a place.

I really enjoyed this soaring flight through the decades, narrated by a mensch not a schlemiel. The author's fulfillment in peaks and valleys of his life shine through in the words. The odds are that anybody who reads this will get a lot out of it and find it very relatable.
